Osman Sagar: A Historic Reservoir
Created by damming the Musi River in 1920 as an additional water source for Hyderabad.
To protect against flooding after the Great Musi Flood of 1908.
Built during the rule of Osman Ali Khan, the last Nizam of Hyderabad, hence its name.
